HELLO YOU-Happy New Month

HELLO YOU-Happy New Month

Hey you! How are you? I mean the real you, not the one you portray or you put out for people to see but YOU. Let me ask you again, How are you really? The You that only you and God know, How is SHE/ HE doing? The answer is not fine simply because everyone says it. This is a reflection blog on being the YOU that God created you to be.

“Forget about being impressive and commit to being real. Because being real is impressive!” – Jonathan Harnisch

The Real You is better

Self reflection and being real is important in life in order to develop strong relationships, build better businesses and live a purposeful life. Let me ask this simple question, Do you know the real you? Who are you really? What is your purpose in life? What do you need to get the best put of this thing called life?

You need to find out what makes you unique from the rest and that which makes the REAL YOU HAPPY and work towards acheiving it. One thing you need to know is that we only have one life to live, there is NO REHEARSAL everyday is the main act if I put it that way. Second chances are only found in movies, once your life is done that’s it. I request you not to waste any second that you live on this earth. My dear one, we only live once, don’t waste your time by not living it to the maximum. Get all you can out of life by being the real you.

Being real and authentic is unheard of these days, most people are like as if they are on a movie set acting thus creating actors and actresses. Every day we interface with people who are not themselves and some are afraid to be the real them because of the fear of being called messy, so they try to fit in and blend in, killing their true self for acceptance.

You need to learn to love and accept YOU. Everyone was created unique for a reason. Stop trying to be someone else, stop trying so hard to please people. Why do you blend in when you were meant to stand out? You are YOU for a purpose and there is a part that the real you is supposed to play but because you have not given the real you a chance, you end up playing someone else’s role.

“But we have to learn to be free. We have to, Nell. Doesn’t mean happy all the time, or okay all the time. It’s okay not to be okay. I told you that, but I’m relearning it myself. But not being okay doesn’t mean you stop living.”  – Jasinda Wilder

Let me tell you a real secret, no one is perfect and I mean no one. Everyone has flaws but the difference between you and them is that they try to work hard to see that these flaws dont define them. You can do that too. You need to embrace those parts of you that you think are not the best and learn to live with them if they can not be changed but if they can be changed, work towards changing them and most importantly maximize on what you know to be your best asset. Let your strength cover the weaknesses you have. What I am saying is that stop running away from your flaws by trying to be strong and acting out but instead embrance them.

In conclusion, when you’re real with yourself, it frees you of the constraints and confinements of the inauthentic world and allows you to enjoy inner peace and experience unconditional love. Now let me ask you again, Bow are you really?
