THE IMPERFECTIONS MAKE US HUMAN

THE IMPERFECTIONS MAKE US HUMAN

The past is to prove that one is perfect and the future is to prove that everyone can change…..!

For the past three weeks, we have have been on a self-discovery journey and I believe that if you have been following the blog you have discovered who you are and what makes you unique. And if you have not been following you can go and catch up.

You have also learned that each and every person on this earth belongs to a certain category that has strengths and weaknesses, meaning that no one is perfect. Don’t be deceived !!!. Stop judging people. You were created to love one another not to judge one another.

Today’s blog is the shortest because I want to stress an important point. No one should make you feel inferior in any way, they have weaknesses too which means they are not perfect…!! don’t allow anyone to bully you because they are not better than you.

This is what the Bible says Romans 3: 23- For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Romans 3:10- As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: This means that we are perfected through Jesus Christ who died on the cross for our sins. You need to always remember that you are stronger than your bully. Simply because they are putting on a strong face to cover their imperfections, instead of acknowledging their weaknesses and working on them, doesn’t make them perfect. They just project it on someone they think is weak. They lie to you and to themselves but fortunately, you now know the truth and it will set you free from all the inferiority complex you might have been having so that you can stand up for yourself. Love who you are and appreciate who God created you to be. Find your purpose and do what makes you happy.

The beauty of knowing that humans are imperfect, it helps us to become stronger to work on our weaknesses and be better. the person you see today will be totally different tomorrow if they worked on themselves. Don’t stay the same way, if it means going t gym do it, if t means fasting do it, if it means cutting out negative friends do it.

You need to know that we leave once, and each minute or microsecond that passes is gone it will never come back. Make your time here memory by leaving a legacy. Strive to live by your purpose and make every second count. Don’t worry about things which have gone wrong in the past, Live in the now by making your future great. Nothing is permanent under the sun even that which is an obstacle including coronavirus shall pass.

Take this, no one is perfect but we always strive to be better by working in the areas of our lives that are not great which we call flaws, and afterward, we become the best versions of ourselves, Don’t ever give up on you…

My name is Rossette Kyakyo, a founder of a youth and women led NGO and Team Leader for Slum youth Rehabilitation and Development Organization (SYRADO). I have a postgraduate diploma in Monitoring and Evaluation from Uganda Management Institute, a degree in social sciences from Makerere university majoring in social worker and social administration, a diploma in social media marketing from SHAW Academy a diploma in Guidance and Counselling from YMCA, certificate in Home and community HIV/AIDS care and a certificate in Digital marketing which all have provided me with skills to become a champion and activist for adolescent girls and young women who are marginalized in the slums of Kampala Uganda. I have experience in youth advocacy and social enterprise where I continued to learn a lot and research on how to effectively empower the youth, women and teenage girls who are marginalized like the poor, sex workers, those living with HIV, refugees and drug addicts living in the slums in Uganda. I have so far trained over 400 young people with entrepreneurship skills 100 of whom are now business owners. Recycling Trash into treasure has created businesses for the HIV+ teenage girls living in Slums through Briquette making, decorative bottle making, straw doormat making, paper beads making among others which deals directly with environment protection and climate change mitigation.
