EASTER THE GREATEST LOVE STORY EVER TOLD
Easter can still be celebrated even in Qaurantine

EASTER THE GREATEST LOVE STORY EVER TOLD

John 3:16  (NIV)

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

Most of us when we get born gain or come to Christianity the first scripture we learn is John 3:16.

The question today is, have you internalized this scripture? And what is Love? And in this case we are talking of AGAPE love of God.

1 Corinthians 13:4-7

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.

To the biblical principle, the above is the definition of love that God portrays and even more in John 3:16. He Loved and He still loves us so much that he couldn’t spare his only son to die for our sins. All He wanted was and still is a relationship with Man like He had with Adam before the fall.

In the Old Testament, the atonement for sin was the blood of animals without blemish but this was not working anymore and only God Himself could save us by dying on the cross. What kind of love is this that He died willingly for our sin? Can you please take some time and Praise His Holy Name, He deserves all the praise, honor, adoration and thanksgiving.

Luke 22:42

Saying, “Father, if it is Your will, take this cup away from Me; nevertheless, not My will, but Yours, be done.”

As we can see, it was not a walkover for Jesus but it was difficult because he was dressed in flesh and blood. But because of the reckless love for humanity, He endured and allowed Himself to go through all the pain you can imagine just to redeem you and me. He suffered and He was transgressed for our sins. This should assure you that you are valuable in the sight of God.

I know we are celebrating Easter in Quarantine because of COVID-19 but that shouldn’t stop you from praising the Lord with all your heart and with all your soul.

One, He died for you that you may have life and life in abundance. Two, many are sick of Corona virus but you and your family the Lord has protected you you. Three, that because Jesus came and died for our sin, you are assured of eternal life, you are nolonger under the law but under grace. You now live by faith through Christ Jesus.

Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?
John 11:25-26 KJV

And we have victory over anything because Jesus died and rose on the third day just like the scriptures said He would. He conquered sin and death and we are more than conquerors through Christ Jesus. Jesus gave us the same authority and said if you have faith as little as a millet seed, you shall say to this mountain move and it was move. you can now say this to Corona Virus, tell it to move and disappear from the face of the earth, exercise your authority child of God. He did not leave us like orphans but he Left us with the Holy Spirit to help us navigate life. What else do you need?

Ephesians 1:3  (KJV)

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ

This means that we are already blessed not with some but with every Spiritual blessings and it is upon us to use our tongues and call them into being. The bible says the power of life and death lies in the utterance power of our tongue.

Nothing Can Separate Us from God’s Love

31 What shall we say about such wonderful things as these? If God is for us, who can ever be against us? 32 Since he did not spare even his own Son but gave him up for us all, won’t he also give us everything else? 33 Who dares accuse us whom God has chosen for his own? No one—for God himself has given us right standing with himself. 34 Who then will condemn us? No one—for Christ Jesus died for us and was raised to life for us, and he is sitting in the place of honor at God’s right hand, pleading for us.

35 Can anything ever separate us from Christ’s love? Does it mean he no longer loves us if we have trouble or calamity, or are persecuted, or hungry, or destitute, or in danger, or threatened with death? 36 (As the Scriptures say, “For your sake we are killed every day; we are being slaughtered like sheep.”[a]37 No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us.

38 And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons,[b] neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. 39 No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:31-39

Important to note: EASTER is not about eggs or bunnies like the Western world is portraying it. It is about the our savour Jesus Christ to died and rose again on the 3rd day to reconcile God to Man.

Enjoy this Easter as you meditate upon the love of God that is guaranteed, His Sufficient Grace, His mercies that endures forever. Knowing that you are blessed beyond measure and that nothing can separate you from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus, not even Corona virus or quarantine can stop this reckless love. GOD BLESS YOU AND KEEP YOU
